Jamie T takes custom audio control from Stylus for his The Theory of Whatever headline UK tour

Stylus Productions are proud to have supplied Jamie T with a bespoke control package and d&b Audiotechnik PA as the indie-rock troubadour set out on the road in support of his latest studio album The Theory of Whatever.

The Stylus audio department provided FOH engineer Jim Carmichael with his preferred package built around an AVID S3 surface / E3 engine coupling and Stage 16 stage rack package. Monitors were overseen by engineer Mike Gibbard using an SSL L500 Plus console and twin SSL 32:32 Stage Rack axis employing a hybrid foldback package of d&b Audiotechnik M2 wedges and Sennheiser 2000 series IEM systems for foldback. A custom microphone package, technical crew and staging solutions completed the full, artist centric production package.

d&b Audiotehcnik KSL system at Alexandra Palace

Jamie’s sold out home town show at London’s Alexandra Palace required deployment of Front of House reinforcement that would provide sufficient energy and coverage without sacrificing calrity or contol. The PA of choice following collaboration between Jim Carmichael and system designer Jacob Rudd was decided as d&b Audiotechnik KSL. The system consisting of main hangs of 14 a side KSL with a furhter 6 KSL a side outfill hangs, 15 SL Sub cardioid array and further V-Series delays more than lived up to expectations delivering brilliantly in the notoriously challenging main hall.

A huge congratulations to Jamie and all the team on a hugely successful tour. We look forward to continuing to supprot the project through 2023 and beyond.
