Dean Lewis Tour
Australian songwriting sensation Dean Lewis continues to enchant audiences across Europe with production management and audio control from our team at Stylus. The Be Alright singer has taken Europe by storm on his recent sold out headline tour in support of the debut album A Place We Knew.
As a new artist starting out at the front end of their album cycle our audio team were tasked with designing a control package that could both meet the project’s immediate needs and have room to grow as shows get bigger. Working closely with Dean’s engineers the result is a system based around our recently arrived Allen & Heath dLive inventory, with twin S5000 consoles at FOH and MON positions. A DM48 mix rack and DM0 audio engine pairing, expanded with OpticalCON protocol fibreACE cards is designed to enable the project to take its system into arenas and onto large festival stages without concerns over multicore lengths or signal quality issues.
To ensure consistency at source the team again collaborated with both engineers Al Davies and Michael Finn to supply a bespoke microphone & DI package. Protected in a custom designed and foam cut triple layer Pelican case, the tour party are free to travel anywhere in the world taking their mic’s in a compact and secure solution.
Our production team at Stylus were proud to provide production management and coordination duties for the project. It is a privilege to work with exciting new artists embarking on their careers, helping them to realise their creative concepts and deliver the best show possible. We look forward to manitaining our contribution to the Dean Lewis project as the live show continues to go from strength to strength.
